Tony Frost

Tony Frost, a fifth generation South African, is the founder of Sirocco Strategic Management, specializing in the design and implementation of leadership strategies with an emphasis on sustainability.  He brings his expertise to EarthPeople as a leadership trainer for both private and public sector clients.  Until 2007, Tony served as chief executive of the WWF in South Africa. His recent book entitled After the Rain, along with his columns and radio broadcasts in regional media, reflects his lifelong commitment to teaching people about conservation.

Tony is a frequent presenter at conferences in Australia, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Finland, the United States, and a number of African countries on the subjects of business strategies and the value of people. Tony uses the invaluable and illustrative lessons of our natural world to bring these talks alive and to emphasize the role that people and organizations can play in addressing the critical problems facing our planet.

Prior to founding Sirocco Strategic Management, Tony spent 20 years as a director of human resources.  He was educated at Queen's College, Queenstown, and at the Universities of Natal, Cape Town, South Africa, and Wits.   He has represented South African athletics as a senior commentator for SATV, with the highlight being the opportunity to commentate on the Atlanta Olympics.  Tony is a keen photographer, a private pilot, and a passionate teacher others about the earth's natural heritage.
