Nancy Schneider is a senior-level project director with EarthPeople. She is the Green Advisory Task Force Chair for the City of Delray Beach. Based on her recommendations to the Mayor and Commissioners, the City passed a resolution to become a Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) Local Green Government. A seasoned consultant in the municipal sector, Nancy also has substantial experience in public relations and marketing in the private sector. Nancy holds an MBA and an M.A. in Geography.
Nancy is a member of the FGBC Local Green Government Standards Committee. Her pivotal influence is reflected in the City’s green standards for 2009. As a result of her extensive training and affiliation with ICLEI, Nancy was recently awarded sponsorship to attend the Florida Local Government Climate Protection Summit. Previously, Nancy served as planning technician for the South Florida Regional Planning Council.
