Nancy Schneider

Nancy Schneider is an EarthPeople consultant with over 15 years of experience developing strategic marketing, leadership and sustainability initiatives for businesses and local governments.  Her areas of expertise include project management, team-building, knowledge brokering, public relations and marketing.  Nancy possesses strong "on the ground" creative problem-solving abilities and extensive experience working with public agencies and commercial enterprises alike.  Nancy has authored several articles on climate change for the Florida Public Health Institute and YourBPC.org.  She holds an MBA and an M.A. in Geography.

In 2009, Nancy served as the Green Advisory Task Force Chair for the City of Delray Beach.  Based on her recommendations, the City passed a resolution to become a Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) Local Green Government.  Nancy's pivotal influence is reflected in the City’s new green standards.  Consequently, Nancy was awarded a sponsorship by ICLEI to attend the Florida Local Government Climate Protection Summit. 

For enjoyment, Nancy operates a sustainable project called www.autofreevacations.com, combining her lifelong love of travel with her mission to help others reduce their carbon footprint.  She commutes between Philadelphia and Delray Beach, Florida.
